East Cost Trip - Part 1

We took our second family vacation (the first was to Texas for Jess and Thom's wedding in April '09) to the east coast. We took a red-eye non-stop from Seattle to Boston on Jet Blue on 10/8/09 (Wednesday night). We love Jet Blue! They have big seats, your own TV, and they don't charge you for checked bags. :) Ari did great on the flight, he slept most of the way. Aside from Aaron getting ill on the plane, it was a great flight. We were thankful that Ari slept and was mostly content the whole way. After landing in Boston, we took a shuttle to the Manchester airport where we rented a car. We spent the rest of Thursday just relaxing and walking around downtown. The next day we had a full day to ourselves. We drove through the white mountains and stopped a lot for pictures along the way to North Conway for some shopping! The leaves were just about at there peak and it was gorgeous.

After some shopping in North Conway (tax free!) we went to the Fryeburg fair in Maine. We took Ari on the Ferris wheel, played games, saw sheep and cows, and ate hot apple crisp!

Saturday was Trisha and Mike's wedding. It was gorgeous and a beautiful day. The ceremony was outside and it was perfectly sunny.
Ari had lots of fun back at the hotel....

On Sunday we hit the road for Maine, for our second stop on our Nor Easter Trip 2009. To be continued....

Texas Trip 2009

We had our first family vacation in April down to Texas for our dear friends, Jess and Thom's, wedding. We had a wonderful time travelling with Ari, despite the fact that he got pretty sick and so did we. BUT, the wedding was beautiful and amazing and we are so thrilled to be a part of it and that we could be there. AND, Ari got dressed up in a tux for the occassion! (Thanks Bubbie and Zayde!)

Here is Ari at the wedding in his cute little tux. This was taken on April 25, 2009 - 2 days away from his 4 month birthday. The family all dressed up.
The after party got kinda crazy - so Ari appropriately got down to his diaper and tie (oh and binky) so he could be a little more comfortable on the dance floor.

Momma and Ari

We couldn't go to Texas without getting a cowboy hat! There's a new sherriff in town
Momma nursing on the plane...Ari sure did great on all the plane rides! He just ate and slept most of the way.
